There is a door at the bottom on the chain link by the entrance/exit that just pushes open and the kids can go out down there and roam or out the main door! We had a few kids go wander out and luckily we saw it and ran down to fetch them. On a different note the toddler area is not locked down. I also had family there that their kids and the husband's got super hot so we all just left and my family forfeited their last hour. Everyone was hot and my little guy drank 3 water bottles in an hour with ice packs on his back and heat to try and cool him down then still ended up getting heat exhaustion which is so scary with a 4 year old. The party room had a small swamp cooler in it with no water or ice. Not in the toddler area which is mostly giant windows, not in any main jumping areas, not in the parents lounge that is up high that you can put your hand to a vent and feel there is not even fan blowing air through the ducts.
