Like all of the streaming services, your results are going to vary according to distance from the server, your Internet service, LAN setup, device hardware, etc. I’ve read several Reddit reviews about PS+ premium on PC and many users said graphics were set on low, there was a lot of stuttering, many games were missing and overall a subpar experience. And the consoles beat the crap out of the more expensive GFN option, IMHO. But the same thing is true w/ Game Pass-> XBox or possibly even GFN->3080 tier->Shield TV. If you start the service, it probably won't be too long until you find a PS5 on your wishlist. And convenience, with the SSD and ability to suspend games and whatnot. there's definitely an improvement in performance and fidelity. Meanwhile, most games can run 4k at 60fps on the console. The sub includes a ton of PS5 games, but you can only stream the PS4 ones. It seems like the only way to get the most benefit out of a PS+ premium subscription is to have a Ps5.įor sure the best way to enjoy Playstation content is to own a Playstation console.
